Tier 2 Prevention Toolkits
Our Tier 2 Prevention Groups offer targeted small-group support designed to meet each student’s unique needs in a focused, supportive setting. Through structured strategies, hands-on activities, and guided discussions, students develop essential skills that strengthen resilience, social competence, and self-regulation. These groups also foster healthy relationships, helping students navigate social interactions, communicate effectively, and thrive both academically and emotionally. STUDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Character Crew
The Character Crew Program is designed to create a space for all students to provide their perspectives, share in decision-making, and lead and initiate action. In doing so, schools can support the development of:
Self-Awareness
Lifting up student voices allows youth to gain awareness of their personal strengths, define their own values and perspectives, and gain a sense of self-efficacy.
Self-Management
Students are more likely to develop self motivation, organization, and persistence when working toward meaningful goals they have set for themselves.
Social Awareness
Students better understand and appreciate others’ perspectives when diverse voices are heard, building empathy, collaboration, and respect.
Relationship Skills
As students take an active role in shaping school climate, they practice effective communication, building up their capacity for more meaningful collaboration.
Responsible Decision-Making
When students are engaged in identifying and solving problems in their classroom, school and community, they learn key decision-making skills.
